syncthing wasnt working between phone & tablet for some reason, possibly a firewall issue? Introducing laptop as a relay seemed to sort it.

Have to be careful with Syncthing if you’re moving files/folders around – could result in syncing an empty folder! Check the FAQ on how to do it.

More and more tempted to just deactive Facebook account. Barely touched it for anything recently. Do wish there was an indie alternative that offered the same level of network though. FB has network monopoly that makes leaving it harder.

replacebase.co.uk turned out to be pretty good. I like the level of detail they put into each of their products. I was looking to replace a battery and they had loads of detail to describe where it came from.
Buying replacements parts for my phone. What a minefield – have to read the comments very carefully to learn whether or not what is listed as a ‘genuine’ part is actually a complete dud.
