Seems like a good argument for everyone owning their own data. The personal data store of children would be the most heavily guarded.
As in tune in to your own icecast streams? I think so… but I’ve just been using it to browse the existing catalogue of radio streams they have in there.

Yeah it was great for that. Also challenging lots of preconceptions. In many places my first reaction was ‘hmm not sure I like the sound of that..’ Like the dormitories, the absent parenting, the kids just being assigned a name. And then over time I’d start thinking ‘wait, exactly why don’t I like that idea?’ Like is there objectively something wrong with it or just because of the particular cultural hegemony I’ve grown up in.
Which contradictions were you thinking of?
Not yet, I haven’t yet really got the hang of replies in general, but I’ll be sure to try it out soon. And thanks for the great post.
