Testing the brid.gy publish WordPress plugin…
This is a placeholder for an upcoming article, in which I’ll document how I got started with indiewebifying WordPress.
On the indieweb IRC channel, jeremycherfas suggested it would be good if I did a similar post to https://ascraeus.org/doing-it-the-hard-way/.
For now, you can read my notes tagged with indieweb.
Categories vs tags, the age old question. But particularly in this case, which works best when publishing via micropub? Quill doesn’t seem to support categories?
Indiewebifying WordPress has been fantastically simple so far, thanks to great plugins and supporting tools.
Note from inkstone didn’t appear to work. It just sat there after hitting ‘post’.
Quill almost works – but doesn’t set the post type that is used by wordpress. Well – I guess that’s an issue in the micropub endpoint.
Testing a note from quill.
Not by default, no – the note comes through with an article for note kind.
