@neil a month ago on a freezing day i went to this Japanese restaurant in Brixton specialised in Ramen. Yes, the Japanese noodle soup. It was all over their website, and still on the blackboard outside. After I booked a table for 2 and discussed the menu they said: “ah sorry, we stopped doing soup or ramen. It is too expensive for us with the cost of gas”. I felt sorry, knowing they would probably close, because cold sushi in a pop-up restaurant in winter won’t do great. I left.
