Not that I’d recommend buying a new laptop (keeping an old one running is that way to go)… but for interests sake, according to iFixit HP EliteBooks are pretty repairable. So well done to HP on that.

Got an old lappy I was hoping to fix up and donate. Problem is the battery, which is about £30-£40 for a replacement on eBay. You can get the laptop itself for about £80 on eBay. What do?
